Nancy Quarcelino is a member of the LPGA and PGA of America. Within a career that spans over 38 years, she has been recognized as a leader and expert in her field within the golf industry. Nancy has coached a wide range of golfers during her career including: amateur men and women of all abilities, competitive junior golfers, players on the LPGA Tour, the PGA developmental tours, LPGA and PGA club professionals, and collegiate golfers.
Nancy began playing golf at the age of eight years old at the encouragement of her parents who were both avid golfers. She played competitive golf as an amateur and continued to play collegiately at Western Kentucky University (1973-1977) where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Physical Education.
While working on her Master’s degree at Florida State University (1977-1979), she began her career in golf, as an assistant coach for the FSU women’s golf team. There, she received her Master of Science Degree with a major in Administration/Supervision and Curriculum of Physical Education.
A few years later she returned to her alma mater at Western Kentucky University (1979-1986) where she coached the women’s golf team as she continued to pursue her career as a golf professional.
Nancy has held the position of Head Professional/General Manager at Indian Hills Country Club in Bowling Green, KY (1979-1986) at the same time she was the Women’s Coach at Western Kentucky. She was the Head Professional at Hermitage Golf Course (1986-1992) in Old Hickory, TN. She was the host professional for the LPGA Sara Lee Classic Tournament while at Hermitage Golf Course and also qualified to play in the inaugural Sara Lee in 1988.
In addition to her Head Professional and management duties, Nancy developed a strong following and outstanding reputation as a teacher of the game. She soon realized that this was her true passion, and in 1992 she started the Nancy Quarcelino School of Golf at Hermitage Golf Course located in the Nashville, TN area.
For the past 23 years, the Nancy Quarcelino School of Golf has been the mainstay for golf education in Middle Tennessee and surrounding areas. It is currently located at King’s Creek Golf Club, an Arnold Palmer Signature golf course, in Spring Hill, TN.
The NQSOG is equipped with state of the art equipment to help golfers perform at their best: FlightScope, BodiTrak, V1 Computer analysis software, Shot by Shot statistical analysis program, and the Mental Golf Profile are just some of the instruction components utilized. A variety of private and group coaching programs are available for golfers of all levels of ability.
During the winter months, Nancy is the featured Top 100 instructor at the PGA Center for Learning and Performance at Port St. Lucie, FL. From this location she has instructed golfers from all over the world, assisted the PGA of America with special events, and designed/implemented new instruction programs.
